Prodrones is one of the entrepreneurs incubated in the Blue Living Lab at Nausicaá.
Human activities are having an impact on the environment and on land and marine ecosystems. Measuring the effects is essential to preserve biodiversity.
The receding coastline, the settlement of rare species or the development of invasive plants need to be measured in order to respond to the challenges of the marine world, as well as setting up offshore or near-coastal infrastructures, which are governed by environmental impact studies.
The Prodrones team is commissioned to carry out these studies by flying a drone over the areas concerned.
During its incubation at Nausicaá's Blue Living Lab, the Prodrones team is working on modelling the seabed using drone imaging. In fact, a large number of photos taken when the drone flies over are then analysed to reconstruct the subject of the study.
