FAQ

Nausciaá is very easy to get to: Just 1h30 from Lille, 2h from Brussels and 2h30 from Paris and London, Nausicaá lies right at the heart of Europe!
See our ‘Opening times, access and recommendations’ page to find out more about the various possible means of transport for getting to the aquarium: car, train, boat, bike, bus and camper van.

Nausicaá is accessible with a pushchair: there are escalators and lifts available at your disposal. We have "compact" pushchairs available for hire at a cost of €3.95. For reasons related to safety and comfort, Nausicaá reserves the right to restrict access to pushchairs - particularly large ones - on busy days. Thank you and see you soon!

We estimate that an independent, unguided visit will take between three and three and a half hours.
If you are pressed for time, choose the 1h30 guided tour, so that you don’t miss anything of Nausicaá’s showpiece areas!

Yes, there is free coach parking at Quai Thurot.
Just show your booking number for bookings made using the form or proof of sale for online purchases.

With the booking form, the minimum required notice period is 3 working days before the date of your visit.
However, consider booking as early as possible to ensure access to our extras (guided tour, catering, etc.).

If you are able to pay by card, and solely to buy tickets for a group of 20 to 100 people, or for a group of more than 7 disabled visitors, you can benefit from the group rates in our online ticketing service and buy your tickets without giving advance notice of your visit date (subject to availability when you visit).
→ Go to the online group ticketing service

You can leave Nausicaá and then come back later the same day. If you wish to do this, please let our hosts/hostesses know before leaving the Centre.

The French National Sea Centre is open every day from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., except for the annual closing period in January (see the opening times and access page).
