A new space dedicated to knowledge

Would you like to take your visit further, have a quiet look at magazines or books about the Ocean, work on a presentation... 
Nausicaá's Ocean Media Library offers a wide range of references on the marine environment and sustainable development, as well as periodicals for all ages: children, schoolchildren, students, teachers, the general public, professionals, researchers, etc.

Our librarians will welcome you and guide you in your research among the more than three thousand books and twenty or so subscriptions available on loan or for on-site consultation at Nausicaá, on Mankind and Shores trail.

Practical information

You can borrow 5 books and 2 magazines (excluding current issues) for a period of 3 weeks.

Documents required to issue the borrower's card :  

- Identity card 
- Recent proof of address (rent receipt or bill less than 3 months old, such as electricity, water, telephone, etc.) or Nausicaá season ticket.

Our timetables

The Médiathèque welcomes you to the Des Rivages et des Hommes trail from Wednesday to Saturday from 10.00am to 12.00pm and from 2.00pm to 4.00pm (excluding school holidays zones B and C and Belgian holidays) or by appointment using the form.
