Equihen-Plage: an unspoilt beach near Nausicaá
Equihen-Plage is an exceptionally well-preserved seaside resort.

From the moment you arrive, you are swept away by the sea air and your attention is immediately drawn to the endless sandy beach, where you can enjoy a wide variety of activities: surfcasting, sand yachting, fly-surfing…
This beach has remained unspoilt: cliffs, breakwaters; no shoreline construction here. Nature alone is sovereign.
Equihen beach is a magical setting in all weathers: the colour of the sky changes constantly and often reveals magnificent sunsets.
Originally a fishing village in the 19th century, Equihen-Plage has remained true to its former heritage. The "Quilles en l’air" (upturned boats) is the best illustration of this. In the past, these dwellings, made of raised and tarred upturned boat hulls, were used as a home for the poorest families.
The commune chose to pay tribute to this period by recreating these upturned boats in its municipal campsite. Fully equipped with all modern comforts, they are available for overnight, weekend or weekday stays and are ideal for spending pleasant moments by the sea.
